FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
01. What does "wall depth" mean?
When you are asked for the wall depth, it is the amount of available space inside the wall cavity measured from wall surface to the back of the cavity. That measurement will let us know how deep we can recess the cabinet into the wall.
02. What is "trim style"?
The trim style is the type (recessed, semirecessed) and projection (how far out from the wall it protrudes) of trim required on a cabinet for a specific application.
03. What is a "standard" cabinet?
There is no "standard" cabinet, each project requires cabinet details specific to that job - trim and door material, finishes, and lock and lettering options are only a few of the things that make each cabinet a custom item.
04. What is a fire rated cabinet?
Larsen's Flame shield cabinets are 2 hour rated for use in a wall that has been constructed as a fire rated wall. The fire rated construction of the cabinet maintains the integrity of the "fire wall" when recessed or semi-recessed.
05. What is the difference between Decals and Die Cut lettering?
Decals are one strip with a clear backing, Die Cuts are individual vinyl letters.
